Description:
Shock is effective against shielded enemies. Ineffective (Neutral in Borderlands 2) against flesh and armored enemies.

Shock Damage in Borderlands 2

Shock Damage is very effective against Shielded Targets.

Normal Mode:  +100% Damage against Shielded Targets. ±0% Damage against Flesh and Armored Targets.

True / Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode: +150% Damage against Shielded Targets. ±0% Damage against Flesh and Armored Targets.

A Stalker (Shielded) in UVHM, would get 250 Damage with 100 Damage Weapon. After the Shield is depleted he receives 100 Damage

The Shock Status Effect lasts for 2 Seconds. It deals damage (1/3 ( ±5% ) of its Status Effect Damage) 3 times per second.

Shock Specific Weapons: Hector's Paradise, Little Evie, Thunderball Fists, Twister, Commerce, Crit, Florentine, Yellow Jacket, Storm

Shock Specific Grenade Mods: Chain Lightning, Lightning Bolt, Quasar, Storm Front, The Electric Chair

Other Shock Specific Items: Black Hole, The Transformer, Whisky Tango Foxtrot, Bone of the Ancients

True Vault Hunter Mode: +150% Damage against Shielded Targets. -35% Damage against Flesh and Armored Targets.

Can cause the Electrocution Status Effect that lasts for 2 Seconds. It deals damage (1/3 ( ±5% ) of its Status Effect Damage) 3 times per second.
